Hi, my name is Abbey. Today I may be known as a fitness enthusiast, but the lifestyle that I live today was not my lifestyle type from the beginning. About two years ago, you would look at me and think that I had no impact or place in the world of fitness. One can define fitness in multiple ways: by appearance, by the level you can train and some even define fitness based on their body fat percentage. I defined fitness when I reached my own personal achievement, going from 200 pounds to where I am today. I have a passion, and it’s helping YOU.
I have the opportunity to help you reach your goals or, like me, learn to change your lifestyle to meet your own personal achievements! The knowledge I have accumulated over time from going from my past weight to now will assist you in your personal efforts to reach your full potential. I'll help you make healthy choices and transform your mind, body and spirit in the gym.
My style is a little different in how I approach fitness. I believe the first step is realizing why you make some of the choices that you do. Do you have stressors in your life that cause you to make poor choices? Do you have lack of support from friends and family? Do you just think it will take too much time and energy, and therefore day after day say that you will start tomorrow? If so, we will find a way to cope and start new changes in your life one step at a time! I am not going to say that I can get you results in two weeks like other diet programs claim. Yes, you may have results, but I want you to fully understand why you are seeing the results based on the efforts you are putting in. There are so many ways to train and so many so-called "effective" diets out there. I will not put you on a diet or tell you to get on the scale, but I will help you make better food choices and provide you with recommendations. I will make you accountable for yourself! You need to understand that this journey starts with you, saying YES I CAN! How easy is that?
It will not be about how long you can workout, or how much weight you can lift. Trust me, the individual spending the most time in the gym isn’t getting the best results! I have been on both sides! Doing more in the gym and dropping your calories 500 less then your friends will not get you to your goals any faster. Let me help you take some of the confusion out of something that isn’t really all that complicated; my recommendations are based on how you feel! Feeling extreme fatigue for hours a day due to high amounts of cardio is not the answer to a healthier lifestyle and a better you. You can now actually enjoy your workouts, as we design a style of exercise based on what you already enjoy!
